Creative Drawing

Exploring drawing using a variety of creative techniques and methods

This course is for both the beginner and students with some experience.

Free up the way you approach drawing in this creative drawing course. You will be given a variety of drawing exercises designed to develop and expose you to different approaches to making and thinking about drawing. For example: drawing with charcoal on a stick so you can't get too precious with the details, drawing with two pencils so you can find a new and interesting way of mark making and many other exciting methods of creating new and innovative drawings.

You will use a range of materials to encourage you to respond to drawing in new and non-traditional ways and try out new and interesting mark making processes.

The instructor will give demonstrations in class to show various techniques, and give constructive feedback on a one-on-one basis with each student as they develop their drawings.
